FOUNDATION STONE LAID IN KAKINADA SEZ FOR TWO TRAINING CENTRES TO CREATE THE LIVELIHOOD FOR DISPLACED FAMILIES

Kothamulapeta; 31.12.2014: Foundation stone has been laid on today in Kakinada SEZ project for establishing desired internal infra and Training Centre for one of the labour intensive projects for provision of better livelihoods for the displaced families.

Smt. Vaddi Nagamani, Village Surpanch, Kothamulapeta along with village elders and about 1000 residents from the village has participated in the program and extended their warm heartfelt wishes. They all expressed joy for the future prospectus through upcoming industries and ensured livelihoods with trust and hope. Speaking on this Occasion, the surpanch praised the management for the concern and determined actions in the field, which is giving them a lot of confidence, driving these people to welcome much awaited the industrialization and labour intensive projects.

She also expressed the hope that the upcoming Training centre would cater the needs of thousands of women through imparted skills and women empowerment. She appealed all the villagers to make the best use of the training programs / facilities which would be an excellent platform for their life to built-in. She thanked the KSEZ Management for fulfilling all the promises made to them. On behalf of the villagers, she stated that they happiness and blessings would be there always to shape-up new economic zone in U.Kothapalli mandal.

On this occasion Sri Bh. A. Rama Raju, Head Projects, Kakinada SEZ said that, the KSEZ management is working with dedication to keep all the promises made to the displaced families and addressing their livelihoods especially. In this regard, an advanced Plush toy Training centre is going to be set up with the prime objective ensured livelihoods with desired skillset, which may further improve the living standards of the people here. He declared that the training centres will take a definite shape in the coming three to four months and give the employment for about 3000 members directly and indirectly.

He announced that a prestigious organization will inaugurate its Rural B.P.O Centre and starts its operation in KSEZ very soon. In its first phase, about 50 students from KSEZ Colony will be given employment and gradually expands its business and provide bright career to many more students in the days to come. For this, KSEZ Management has already provided training for two batches.

He also stated that a Chinese export oriented soft toys making company would cater thousands of women by providing livelihoods. He said that both the soft toys manufacturing company and the Rural B.P.O will provide better career opportunities for thousands of the people here and fill happiness in their lives.
