�GMR VARALAXMI FOUNDATION - CARE OUT PATIENT CLINIC OPENED TODAY AT THALAPANTIPETA IN KSEZ PROJECT AREA

Kakinada, July 7, 2012 : GMR VARALAXMI FOUNDATION - CARE OUT PATIENT CLINIC OPENED TODAY AT THALAPANTIPETA IN KSEZ PROJECT AREA The Outpatient clinic has been opened by GMR Varalaxmi Foundation- CARE led health mission at Talapantipeta today. The service provision made in a very simple informal way with the Professional health team. The clinic intended to support the needy persons hailing from Kakinada Special Economic Zone project area villages; and provide primary health care as well as the counselling required. It operates from morning 8 AM to 5 PM with lunch break on every day except Sundays

This clinic would be supported with necessary diagnostics and equipped with 8 beds. This intervention is going to be a major health support for the communities especially the aged, pregnant and lactating mothers and children. This clinic would be soon equipped with more than 12 health crew of Health and Para medical capacities and dealing of all the major ailments

This initiative would fetch the people to cure chronic anemia, seasonal diseases and other contagious diseases etc. This is also more useful to prevent STDs, HIV, RTIs etc. The health team also provides the Behavioural change communication, Inter personal counselling etc.

A qualified Doctor, Two Nurses and Patient relation executive and a helper were deployed to serve the patients with humanity. GMR VF spent more than Rs. 85 lakhs rupees for this Clinic including running one mobile medical unit.

Mr. Ganapathi, Chief Project Manager, Mr. CRM Naidu, General Manager, Corporate Relations, Mr. Chandrabushan, Manager-HR were presented along with Mr. Sudhakar of GMRVF. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Sudhakar, Program Leader, GMR Varalaxmi Foundation has stated that, on the ongoing roadmap activities, GMR Varalaxmi foundation is doing many social responsible activities in Kakinada Special Economic zone area in Health and Education sectors apart from livelihood activities. Till date foundation has spent an amount of Rupees 2 crores in Education and Health sector in this area.

Today around 70 patients including ladies, Old age and handicapped men and women were utilized the services and we hope the neighboring villagers are also availed the services rendered by this Hospital and GMR varalaxmi Foundation.
